A motivation towards selfless journey
I am Muna Adhikari from Rautahat district, Nepal. Currently, I am preparing to pursue my higher studies. Recently, I have successfully accomplished my contract with government to serve at government hospital for 2 years.
I worked as a Nursing Officer in Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, Kathmandu. The tenure of working at the hospital gave me an experience, which started with curiosity and ended with satisfaction. From working with people living with HIV to directly involve in the care of Covid-19 cases, even brief experience added a diverse taste of working environment to my career. Apart from that, I also served at Sindhuli District Hospital located in the rural part of Nepal for one year. Short but highly satisfying working experience has definitely bolstered my enthusiasm to work and serve in the future too.
While I was pursuing my bachelor degree in Nursing, SMPN provided a scholarship, which facilitated throughout my educational journey. On the other hand, I got acquaintances with the kind sponsors and organizers, who were relentlessly helping huge number of students in their educational journeys. Meeting them, I was overwhelmed by their generosity.
Particularly, during my college days, I was experiencing some hurdles but at the meantime, I was able to get the scholarship from SMPN, which was supportive to pursue my dream. Throughout my academic years, the help I received from SMPN bolstered my respect towards humanity too. I, therefore, have always been motivated to serve with kindness and empathy to whoever in need.
Furthermore, I have witnessed that SMPN has not only touched a single life like mine, instead it has been able to support poor, disables, girls and many others students in various ways for their betterment. Every one of us, who have received the help, may have different stories but overall we all have been connected though the goodwill acts of the sponsors and organizers.
Last but not the least, I am immensely grateful for SMPN to show us that a single act of kindness can create huge difference in this world.
